Giving birth to my third child in April presented me with a major design challenge--where to put her. Our apartment is about 1,000 sq ft with two decent size bedrooms.
My other two children share a room (I really must show you how their room is decorated--soon, I promise). I decided to convert this corner in our bedroom into "Sophie's Nursery." This is a rental, so please ignore the wall color--I obviously do.
It's not complete, but like everything in my life, I am sure it will evolve over time.
Using mostly things I already owned, I tried to create a functional and pretty space. The three purchases I did make are all from Pottery Barn--the changing pad cover, tiered bath organizer, and the personalized blanket with Sophie embroidered upon it. Because almost all of her things are hand-me-downs, I thought one special blanket would be only fitting for the youngest member of our family. What do you think?
