*The Roosevelt Hotel's Grand Ballroom was designed "with romance in mind, from its high ceilings, to its tall graceful windows, balconies, and boxes." Original Tiffany chandeliers are still hanging in the ballroom today. The striking mural by Arthur Crisp adds a fairytale feel with a colorful rendition of the Cinderella story.
*The Roosevelt was one of the glamorous New York City venues frequented by Little Edie Bouvier Beale back in the day.
More about the Roosevelt Hotel:
One of the oldest Hotels in New York City, The Roosevelt is known as "The Grand Dame" of Madison Avenue. I like it for weddings because it's so close to Grand Central Station, which means your wedding guests can arrive by train, walk a few short steps to your party, and depart the same way--no cars, no traffic, no parking, no carbon emissions, and no tipsy drivers. Sounds perfect. And plus, The Roosevelt just opened Mad46, a cool rooftop lounge perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding.
