CB Vintage: Wedding Cake Toppers, Milk Glass Vases, and More

classic bride, vintage weddings, cake toppers, vintage cake toppers, cb vintage

Classic Bride has recently launched a new web site. CB Vintage is a wedding and event resource with a well-edited selection of vintage items, including the cake topper above. I appreciate the focused approach to the product offerings because it shows she really knows a good thing when she sees it. Makes it so much easier for the harried bride or the busy wedding planner to find exactly what they're looking for.

Eco-Chic Home has more than sixty different

eco-chic home by emily anderson projects for every room in your home. Each project repurposes a common household item, like a coat hanger, plastic CD cases, even plastic shopping bags. I intentionally chose projects that are purposeful as opposed to just art. I want you to see how it is possible to have something that is well-designed and eco-friendly. My goal was that you wouldn't know what the design was made out of right away. I am not interested in creating the typically "green" aesthetic, because I want everything to be green, whatever it's "image" is.

Eco Chic Weddings by Emily Anderson

Sustainable Style is all about good design, pretty things, useful things, things you can use again, or give away, or remake into other cool things. After a decade of working in the fashion industry and then designing weddings and events at Martha Stewart, in 2003 I was inspired to create Eco-Chic Weddings. I wanted to show the fashionable, chic couple how to incorporate sustainability into their celebration without sacrificing style.

Getting married is such an incredible time in one's life. It's the beginning of your life with your chosen partner, and a time when you make specific choices about what that life will look and feel like...how will you entertain? What will your home be, and how will it be furnished? Couples spend more money in the shortest amount of time before, during, and immediately after their wedding. Why not make some better decisions about where that money goes? Believe me, it will make a difference.
