Yes, there's always ebay. I think keeping some of your grnadmothers treasures is perfectly justified. It sounds like she would be happy to know you were cherishing them for her :)

I understand so completely! I am a hoarder, organized at it and careful to select, but there are things they are attached to my heartstrings, like these special things my grandma kept and it connects me with her! So there must be things you could never possibly let go of.
I regret deeply that I was far away when my grandma passed away and the children and grandkids around threw out many things I would at least have seen one last time.
But circumstances are different and I am sure you know what you are doing! There are so many ways to keep memories alive.
I have a treasure box in the attic, which gets filled with things I want to keep but do not want to display!
